King Charles III is making the best of it!

The British monarch released a bold statement in support of victims and the law after his younger brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested in connection to the Epstein Files this morning. And then, he hit a fashion show.

Kicking off London Fashion Week (which runs from February 19 to 23), Charles sat front row at the runway show of Tolu Coker, a British-Nigerian designer and multi-disciplinary artist who believes in using clothes as a vehicle for social change. She is also a former beneficiary of The Prince’s Trust—now The King’s Trust—founded by Charles. The artist received mentorship and business support from the charity when she first launched her eponymous brand in 2018.

Next to the king was Stella McCartney, whom he was pictured sharing some laughs with. And also on his row were Martine Rose, CEO of the British Fashion Council Laura Weir, Alexander McQueen Creative Director Sean Mcgirr, and British rapper Little Simz.

Charles was posh in a gray suit composed of a double-breasted jacket and trousers with purposely folded-up hems. He paired the set with a white button-up shirt, a patterned bronze tie, and black dress shoes. The royal kept warm with a black coat layered over his suit look as he later walked out onto the chilly London streets.

It has been a heavy and historic day for the British royal family. This morning, on his 66th birthday, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested following a raid at his home tied to new information discovered about him in the Epstein Files. Despite having denied wrongdoing, the former prince has long been connected to late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, and was accused of sexual assault by late Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre.

As the reigning monarch, Charles has taken a harsh stance in the matter involving his younger brother. Today, he released a statement confirming that authorities have his “full and wholehearted support and co-operation” in the investigation into Andrew. He added, “Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.”

Queen Camilla also attended her own engagement in London this morning following Andrew’s arrest.
