It’s been a minute since we’ve seen our favorite actor-singer duo step out for a date night, but today, we got a treat. Attending a London screening of Paul McCartney: Man on the Run, Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams walked the red carpet for their first joint public appearance since they started dating back in 2024. And what better way to make a debut than to pose for photos with the Beatle himself?
For the special occasion, the two leaned into couple dressing, each wearing a piece from HADES’s Joni Mitchell collection. For Mescal, this meant a blue Blue knit sweater—embroidered with the 1971 album title. For Abrams, the reference was a bit simpler, thanks to her black-and-white harlequin scarf, knitted with lyrics from the 1966 song “Both Sides Now.”
Walking in the cold, the Us artist draped the accessory around her head for warmth, and wore it with a black cape coat and dark-wash jeans. Next to her, her boyfriend sandwiched his jumper between a white tee and long wool coat.
To top it all off, the lovebirds seemed to have swapped hometown allegiances with their hat choices. Mescal, for starters, repped Abrams’s baseball team of choice—the Boston Red Sox—with a blue-and-red cap. His beau, on the other hand, picked out a light-green piece from Aaron Esh, a United Kingdom designer based in the Normal People star’s current city, London.
We expect many more wardrobe-swapping moments to come from these two.
