Just after announcing they're expecting their first child, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle began their whirlwind royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, and Fiji. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to attend a whopping 76 engagements, including the Invictus Games, which take place in Sydney this year. Prince Harry started the event, which showcases wounded soldiers competing in athletic competitions, in 2014.
For the first day of their tour, Harry and Meghan attended a welcoming event at Admiralty House in Sydney, where Sir Peter Cosgrove, the Governor-General of Australia, and his wife hosted the couple and presented them with gifts for their new baby. Later, the couple visited Taronga Zoo and the Sydney Opera House before attending an evening reception back at Admiralty House, where Prince Harry gave a warm speech about visiting Australia.
