The cast of Game of Thrones reunited at the 2019 Emmys Awards, months after the stars took their final bow for the HBO show’s eighth and last season this June. Although the hit fantasy series is over, the former co-stars showed that their friendships live on with sweet bonding moments throughout the awards show. You can thank real-life best friends Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner, onscreen lovers-turned-close pals Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington, and many more for the GoT lovefest.
Thrones garnered a record-winning 32 nominations for this year’s Emmys, and already took home 10 trophies in the creative arts categories last week, including nods for makeup, visual effects, stunt coordination, costumes, and music composition. Last night, the cast and crew took home the title for Outstanding Drama Series, and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) won the award for Supporting Actor in a drama.
