The Kitri dress
Whether styled with a pair of summer's must-have barely-there sandals or a simple pair of trainers, Kitri's Lenora gingham dress has been a huge hit, accumulating a 500-strong wait list. Inspired by "milkmaids and picnics", the gingham-square neck dress, which is also available in plain pink, green and black, was first launched in March and sold out within 48 hours, forcing the brand to restock the style.

During a visit to Soho House's House Festival in early July, we spotted no less than five women wearing Mark & Spencer's striped green dress. With only a limited offering still available on the brand's website, this is another style to make a beeline for before it sells out entirely.

There are many iterations of the satin slip skirt this season, but none have reached the cult-like status of Topshop's version. Simple and affordable (initially priced at just £29 and now on sale for £15), the style was launched in several summery colourways - from burnt orange to canary yellow - and promptly sold out.
